TWERKING CLOWNS, TUTU & PINBALL
For those of you, my multi-platforms-ever-connected fellas, who follow me on Instagram (@igobyfrankie and @asos_freddie), you know I’ve just come back from a holiday back home: Paris and then a really sunshiny South of France. Woohoo! Coming back to a dark and rainy London is the best reality check you can hope for: erm the holiday’s over man, just move on now will you?!
I’ve been living in London for over 3 years now and my style has changed so much, I’ve been set free by an amazing city where bumping into a 85 year-old drag queen walking down the high street in a tiny micro skirt is pretty common. Being very much of a Londoner now, I’ve been pushing my style boundaries ever since. And I forget about the randomness of it all until I step foot in Paree.
Strolling around Paris in this crazy green see-through tutu (ballerina on a breakdown alert), this vocal crop top, my hippy long kimono and this cotton crown I call an afro got everyone’s comfort zone knocked in multiple corners like a flipping game of pinball. At some point I started thinking I was famous, all these eyes on me, but erm, no one stopped for a photo or an autograph: I was just the new official clown of the circus! And you got to LOVE that!
Fashion is nothing serious, just play and play with it. Mix and match colours and shapes, you’ve heard (read) me saying that a trillion times but I’m on mission of splashing colours on our dear high streets.
Oh and when in Paris, let the world know who is the love of your life. Mine is called Tom, and the whole concept of life is pointless to me if I can’t wake up to his smile…
