So it’s been quite a long time and quite a few things have changed. But I’m still heavily obsessed with culottes, as you can see.

I don’t really indulge in tales about my life but thought I should at least share that. *Drumrolls* and this is where it gets emotional *add more drum rolls* I’ve just left Topshop where I was Digital Marketing Manager and I’m now Personal Stylist for ASOS. My feet haven’t touched the ground since they offered me the job. Those who follow me on Instagram, you already know so this here is nothing compared to the TMZ news feed. I realise that the scenes we portray on social media tend to, for some consciously for some unconsciously, showcase what seems to be perfect lives; and many of you have asked me how I do what I do and get what I get. So I just wanted to say, as I wish some people had have the same honesty with me, that none of these changes go without numerous sleepless nights, where I’m up stressing and wondering if I should do what I’m about to do, my stomach paralysed with anxiety. I’m a massive stress producer, it’s actually what I do best (and this is what saves me from an expensive gym subscription, you’d be surprised with the amount of calories stress makes you burn). May I just say that thanks to this blog and its amazing readers, I’ve gained the confidence to put more of myself out there and this has a lot to do with getting that job and starting this new journey so thank you guys 🙂

Enough now as I feel naked for sharing that much ahah. Luckily this is quite a covered up outfit and there’s not much more you could catch glimpses of. Ah!
Not sure if you can notice – I surely do, but Tom (also known as “the boy” – told you I felt like sharing today) didn’t take these pictures and it’s the first blog shoot ever shot by someone other than him. It felt so awkward, let alone the fact that this was shot on my 1st day at ASOS for my Personal Stylist profile and it all basically went like “Hello, good morning, welcome, let’s take some pictures”. So that’s the (long) story behind these pictures.

Now onto the outfit. Do I still need to explain? Culottes and I are like peas in a pod, we can hardly explain our chemistry. I wanted to go for a total loose/boyish outfit so paired said culottes with this monochrome batwing top. Then I realised that I could be easily mistaken for a mad woman wandering in town in her PJs so decided to glam the whole thing up with a pair of mules. I’ve always found it hard to work out these shoes: they’re completely open at the back but yet sit on a 10cm heel – how the fudge do you walk in them? Well you do, still haven’t worked out how but they do deliver.
