FRONT PLEATS & FAIR TRADE
For those of you already having enough of culottes, you’re in for an upcoming breakdown since the Spring Summer 2015 catwalks recently made it clear that culottes are here to stay. So just brace yourself and embrace the wide legged frenzy.
I’m so excited that we’re getting another spin because I don’t feel like I’ve played enough with culottes. I mean check this pair out – I’m just in love with the front pleats and the soft and flowy fabric. Now don’t go thinking that you’re too small to rock a pair, I’m not very tall myself but won’t let the size chart defeat me. Wear them with heels if that’s any help, the high rise is here to lift you up and shoot you to the babe status anyway. This colour also means that you can style it with bolder colours like burnt autumnal tones.
That’s why I threw these shoes in the mix and and balanced them with my orange lipstick. Culottes can look messy so polish your outfit with some symmetry for extra swagger.
Now this top and its matching kimono. Can we pause and take a deep breathe? ASOS Africa is back!! I was telling you about ASOS White already and ASOS Africa is another member of the family I choose to sit next to at the Christmas table. SO cool to hang with and so legit: the jacquard here is so thick and textured and I’m just loving the check design – check being back this season, stronger than ever!
Oh and I said legit because ASOS Africa is just the coolest babe in the family, it simply encourages artisans and community groups across Africa since it’s made in Kenya. So you’re spending more but you’re getting more. You’re doing something right while looking fab. How is that not winning?
The kimono is even cuter with its wide-cut sleeves and its reversibility. You can style it in so many ways and make the most out of its price tag. Green and savvy then, ASOS Africa is that cool chick I have on speed dial, I’m telling ya!!
Love de la love,
