You gotta love comic/sci-fi tops! I have a Star Wars jumper, a Star Wars tee, a Batman crop top and a couple of Bambi and Mickey tees. It’s a big crew we have now, we’re the cool kids. Ok, nerdy (and sad?). That’s why I tend to wear my buddies with girly garments like this pink mohair skirt.
And because it takes more than Marvels to make a girl happy, know that those shoes are currently on sale. They were initially £62 and I got them for £30; now be fast cause those babes are more sought after than a kebab on Clapham high street on a Saturday night! They also have them in pink (pink is the new real McCoy, remember?) and in black (not on sale though, cheeky!)

Now about the skirt, I absolutely love this soft and comfy pink mohair piece; I had it for ages but wore it for the first time last week. Yeah, pink is the new black I heard. To be honest, I wasn’t really impressed when all this pink came out this season, for some reason I’ve always thought that pink wasn’t a colour for me. And I still do; but a pastel pink can somehow win my heart so there it is.

Have a nice weekend y’all

– Shirt: Topshop
– Super high waisted jeans: Topshop
– Stud ring: Topshop
– Cuff: ASOS
– Heels: Bershka

Now I’m not trying to be a rocket scientist but I need to say that the best thing about high waisted jeans, is how long they make your legs look (I do know that that’s what they’re all about though)! So when I found out (10 years after the rest of the world did) that Topshop was doing some SUPER high waisted jeans, I realised I was living an unfulfilled life: I needed a pair!

When I first slipped my legs in those, I was tempted to text Naomi to tell her she had nothing on me, I mean b*tch please! They also make your legs look much skinnier so I don’t think that skinny-skinny girls should get obsessed about them but for size 10 gals like me, I think they’re wicked!

Make sure you pair them with a crop top/shirt to get the full long legs effect. I wore mine with that Topshop crop shirt that I buttoned to the top for a classy but yet quirky look that I toned down with those orange Bershka high heels, a stud ring and a bronze cuff 🙂

Yesterday was such an amazing surprise for every Londoner I guess. We stopped moaning about the weather for a few hours, barbecued a few chicken legs and drank far too much rosé. But sore heads don’t care (until the Monday morning).

Right. The above was just an attempt to introduce my outfit but it’s not working. So basically, I’m obsessed with smock dresses at the moment! Smock dress? I’ve just learnt to call them that a couple of days ago. To put it simply, they’re those loose and effortlessly cool dresses with a dropped waist and I NEED to own more than one (hint hint)!

This one’s from Zara, I got it on sale for £12 last month (remember when I said that I could get you an outfit and a glass of Merlot for less than £20? I wasn’t kidding – I’m not the type)

I do need to get these ones though:

1. ASOS

2. Topshop (out of stock but apparently they’re coming back this week…)

And in another life (with another type of pay check basically), I’d bag this one:

Have a lovely week!
